Responding to consumer desire for naturally sweetened beverages without the calories, Tazo launched a new line of Tazo Zero Calorie Naturally Sweetened Bottled Teas.
The new tea line, which is the first of its kind widely available in natural grocery retailers nationwide, will be offered in three consumer favorite Tazo blends - Passion, Zen and Refresh.
Brewed from real tea leaves and botanicals, these new beverages were artfully crafted to provide the perfect balance of the refreshing flavor of tea and the zero-calorie all-natural sweetness of stevia, the company says.
"Our new line of bottled teas provides a first-of-its-kind, enticing option for consumers seeking naturally sweetened tea beverages without the calories," Michael DeLaCruz, Tazo manager of beverage R&D, said.
Zero Calorie Tazo Passion is a blend of tart hibiscus, lemongrass and rose hips that quench thirst and leave the mind feeling rejuvenated.
Zero Calorie Tazo Zen is a balance of green tea, lemongrass and spearmint. If not the path to enlightenment, this harmonious blend certainly points you in the right direction, the company says.
And Zero Calorie Tazo Refresh is made with rich and intense Pacific Northwest peppermint leaves, piercing spearmint and a pinch of tarragon, providing an invigorating way to refresh the senses, the company describes.
Tazo Zero Calorie Naturally Sweetened Bottled Teas will be available at Whole Foods and select natural food retailers nationwide. Each 13.8-ounce bottle will be offered for the suggested retail price of $1.49 - $1.79.
